The Graphical Dress Goes on a Picnic! Something Gorgeous is Headed This Way!

It's my Friday off.  I was ready for a little R and R.

Right here in my own backyard. Along came Anthro's Iris Bedding in Blue.
I also did a very bad thing every Anthro crazed girl does to make her smile.

The Graphical Dress by Edme and Esyllte made an appearance just for Katie (AnthroYogie)

Add Graphical Dress - by Edme and Esyllte - Anthro Sale Aug 2010

I couldn't resist a bite and a nibble on my Anthro plates purchased during my first trip to the store in Cesar's Palace Las Vagas.

Along came another Anthro guest appearance.

Here is a styling fit for the beach or a picnic.  Including another Orla Keily Handbag big enough to hold all the necessary essentials.

Multi Flower Check Beach Bag - Strawberry - Orla Keily SS08 - Sept 2008

I had my hair styled this morning.  My usual curls didn't make it to the picnic.

My curls and I will return Monday with a second outfit style for the Graphical Dress.

If I look particularly happy right now, it's because I was a very bad girl today.

And now for my very bad thing......

This is the bad thing!
It's headed my way!

The Coral and Phlox Coat - by Tracy Reese - Anthro
I am feeling a huge review coming on. Do you LOVE it?

I passed on the Babergh Dress for this!

Hope everyone does a very bad thing now and then.
So splurge on something big from Anthro.

Love, Laura

I just went to Anthro's site and took a closer look at the coat...I didn't realize it was embroidered! I thought it was just a canvas print! I LOVE IT! UH OH, I might be bad and get this myself at the end of the month!!!!!

Chrissy,

I know I'm jumping the gun on a coat in 100° F weather. But when I decided against the Babergh, I immediatly thought of the Coral and Phlox Coat.

And really, it's only a $100 more than the Babergh Dress. I will wear it more often and for years to come.

I don't think the coat will ever make the sale section. If the Babergh does then I will order it.

Love, Laura

I love your photo shoot with the Graphical Dress. It looks stunning on you, and these pictures look like they could have come from the Anthro catalog. And the Coral and Phlox coat is stunning -- looking forward to seeing pictures when it arrives!

Laura,
what a fun and beautiful photo shoot! The graphical dress looks great for a picnic and the spread is amazing! It looks likes you really enjoyed your Friday off. Also, I read in an earlier post that that we share the same birthday, 12/22!! Wonderful!

I love your photo setup - when I saw your first pic initially on my Google Reader, I totally thought it was some catalog shot.

I can't wait to see you in your Coral and Phlox coat - that piece is gorgeous!

Okay, did you hear my HUGE sigh of relief that the dress worked for you?You look smashing!! I had forgotten how lovely that dress is. I adore your styling, too, just perfect. And the pictures! I agree with everyone, looks like a catalog shoot. Congratulations on the big purchase. It is a lovely coat and I am 100% with your justification about the coat costing a little more but will last so much longer. Cannot wait to see it & hear your review!

Jamie,

I must give photo credits to my BF. The idea popped into my head. We both jumped up and started organizing props. It took all of 10 minutes to set-up. He even cut up some fruit and put food on the Anthro plate. He went and got the ladder and climbed up to take photos. We were time constrained since it was almost 7 PM and getting dark fast.

Dea,

We are Sag/Cap cusp babies.

I know exactly where you found the reference to the date. It was about my Orla Keily bag that went on sale at Anthro on my Birthday and I missed the sale. But ended up getting the bag from the Orla website a week later.

Lisa,

I know I won't regret not ordering the Babergh Dress. It could still make it to Sale. But knowing how Anthro has been lately, the dress won't hit sale until late next Spring.

I am dying to get my hands on the Coral and Phlox Coat. It will likely ship UPS snail mail. I love the Anticipation!

Dear, Dear, Katie,

I almost returned the Graphical. The elastic in the ribcage area is tight. But a 6 would have been too big. It was also a little see through in the bodice. I sewed a Barely There brand bralette into the bodice. It was trial and error. But it worked. I'm going to do the same thing to the Lynx and Leo Dress.

Everyone,

Thanks so much to all of you for the wonderful compliments and shared excitement over the coat. As I said in my comment to Jamie, all photo credits must be given to my BF. I think he had as much fun as I did yesterday. Hopefully we can come up with some great future photo shoots. We have lots of interesting and beautiful places nearby that would make excellent back drops.

Much love to everyone, Laura
