Tomorrow (Thursday April 28th) is the last day to submit your outfit ideas for Style GeoInCalifornia, for a chance to win a $25 Anthropologie Gift Card.

There are currently 9 entries.  Can't beat those odds. Just click on my Wye Valley Dress on the Right Side Bar for information.

This weekend, I will don my eBay Sniped Wye Valley Dress and Jemima Shrunken Cardi.  Then I plan to take massive amounts of photos while making changes using your suggested accessories. Monday I will post all the photo's and place a Polling Station on the Right Side Bar, much like I did for Inspiration That Rocks.   Except this will be a whole lot more fun and less work for me, since I conned, I mean promised the winner a reward.

Don't forget to look for the final Style GeoInCalifornia Post on Monday.

My OOTD's focus is on Anthro's Powdered Pigment Dress by Tracy Reese. I love an easy to style dress that doesn't have to fight for attention.

Pick a color!  Any color.  Perhaps even two colors!  I picked Green and Blue. I went for a soft, understated Pastel Cardi. The Enamel Button Cardi in Dew Drop by The Gap seen HERE. I chose to wrap the belt under today.  But I could have just as easily went over the top of the Cardi with Anthro's Sulky Belt, seen HERE in Brown.

Highest Vista Platforms in Navy - by Frye - Anthro Orig $188 Sale $99 - May 2009

Look!  Sandals!  This time my toes are polished. Sticking to Green and Blue, along with Neutrals, I went with Orla Kiely's All Leather Handstitched Patent Handbag in Green.

I rarely wear clogs.  From my experience, they tend to attract negative attention when walking the tiled hallways around here.  But, Anthro's Highest Vista Platforms has a non slip pad on the sole that also muffles the clang, clang, clang. These came in Navy with Blue, and Fuchsia with Yellow.

I LOVE your photos! They have such a retro, Anthropologie-catalog feel to them :) You look beautiful in this gorgeous little dress; you just seem to be glowing in it. I can't wait to catch up on your blog entries now that I'm back!

I don't think you missed much. Maybe my new Chie Mihara's. As for my Glow...the morning sun loves me. If I take photos any other time of day, they bite.

Glad you're back Carly!

I just realized something about your email address. Ha-ha! Eleanor Rigby can't be your real name. You are a Beatles Nut for sure!

You look fabulous as always! I'm really loving those shoes! I have been striking out with shoes lately. Arrg.

From the sale, I ordered the Hearts Desire cardi in white, Along the Wharf cardi, and A Bit Unruly Top (not sale!). I also broke down and bought the Tiered Chambray Dress. Not on sale but since it's long, I can definitely wear it now with a cardi. I'm thinking of ordering the Eyeleted Corset Top FP too--I've missed out on every corset top so far, and this one is so much more gorgeous than all the others, I think I'll just have to get it.

2 weeks ago I was torn between the hearts desire and the Adynomene Cardi. If only I had known the Hearts would make sale first. I would have got a credit.

I ordered the Unruly Top over the weekend. Yep FP. But $48 isn't bad. I got the Blue/white Motif. But want them all.

I have sent back 6 pairs of shoes just in April. But I love my new Chie Mihara's so much I don't care. I'm now planning new outfits around my Red Tosmos.

I say go for the Corset Top. I would if I were young.

How can you look so good at 6:30 in the morning?! I love the blues and greens together and how you carried it down to the polish on your toes.

From the sale, I purchased the Classic Peasant Henley in white. Seems like it will be a pretty versatile piece.
This dress looks just lovely on you, and those shoes pair so perfectly with it!

I actually didn't buy anything in the sale this week! I know; what is this world coming to?

There are those weeks when I suffer the same issue. Sometimes there is nothing on sale to want. That's a good thing. I thought the shoes were a little retro 70's. Perfect for this dress.
I love your color pairing - esp with the attention to the green stitching in the bag and the green panel on your shoes! You look so cheery and beautiful at such an early hour :)

Thanks Lori! And to think I threw this together at 5 AM this morning. I was torn between several pairs of shoes. I really try not to be matchy-matchy but It happens.
I love this dress! I wasn't certain about it when I saw it online, which is strange because I love Tracy Reese. It looks great on you and it looks like it will be a versatile piece in your closet! I wanted to say thank you for leaving such wonderful comments on my blog! :)

I think of myself more as a Corey Lynn Calter gal, but I have more T Reese. I honestly didn't expect to like this dress so much. I still have issues with the cowl neck. So I covered it up. I think I will either roll it inside or outside and tack it down. Much like I did with the Great Dots Maxi. The cowl comes to an odd point that always ends up looking like I have a Rhino Horn sticking out from between the Girls. Not very flattering. When will they see that Silk and Cowls do not mix.

Kimmie, Your stylings are thoughtful and well put together. You think of every detail. And your silly photos are just as appreciated. It's easy to give you wonderful comments, because you are wonderful!

Enjoy the cruise. I can't wait to see what you have to say about the last day. I remember being stuck in one of the ships libraries for hours just waiting to get off the ship. It was Carnival Cruise Torture! And the funny thing is I went on that cruise during Easter Vacation Week so my son (then 9) could go. The ship was packed with kids. More Torture!
Very nice dress Laura and you've styled it nicely. Can you believe i got nutter on sale? Yep, i've been good lately. Not sure how long this will last as I am in love with a few skirts - the Hamatreya, Goldfield and Sagebrush to name a few! I see you've been buying up big..uh-oh..
Great outfit Laura! I love the way you styled it. I actually purchased this dress recently, but I still haven't worn it. I love the fit, the colors, and the back of the dress. For some reason, I seem to be waiting for a special occasion to wear the dress. I need to just go for it and wear it to work or on a lazy weekend day!

Guess what? My very first Orla Kiely bag is on its way to me!!! Thanks to the lovely Jess of Consume or Consumed, a cars print overnight bag will be mine:) I'm so excited! I have admired all of your gorgeous OK bags for the longest time.

You definitely should wear the dress. No need for a big shindig. I feel a liitle naked in all that thin Silk though.

Yay! An Orla Kiely bag. I have the Laptop bag in Car Print. Sometimes I carry it as a handbag. It will make you want another, and another, and another. Can't wait to see you post it.

Thanks Katrina! I didn't give the dress a second thought until it went on sale.

I love how your whole outfit came together. It looks great!! I picked up the Ardennes and the Calm Seas skirt, along with a pop back on the Gleaming Slow Poke necklace. I picked those up online and hoped to see the Sail Shapes or Tulleries in my store last night. My store was practically cleared out. All of the dresses that went on sale were all gone by last night!

CS Cancelled my Medium Cloud Art. I picked up the Small in a store. So that worked out perfect. This morning I put a size 4 Take Action Dress in my Wish List, then blinked and it was Out Of Stock. Called CS and was told none in stores. A Reader gave me a tip and I snagged one. Full Price! Oh well. I'm still looking for a Pom Flower. You wil love the Gleaming Slow Poke. Crazy how fast sale items can fly out the door.

I'm sure not young at 51, but I bought the Cherry Corset top, one of those Tracy Reese cargo skirts, and the Lapiz Lazuli dress. I'm bummed because there are about easily $1500 worth of dresses alone that are in the newest catalog or already in stores! Some of the full prices are doable, but some are just crazy considering that I couldn't wear them to work, and my church isn't that fancy. That's why I loooove a great sale, but the drawback is possibly missing out on something beautiful. BTW, love all of your pictures! You always look amazing and represent the ladies over, ahem, 25?? LOL

OMG! I love that Cherry Corset Top, but refrained from the urge. There was a discussion last week that argued whether the Mompos was befitting to a women over 40. Someone even claimed that the dress was meant for someone over 50. Hmmmmmm! Finally, that women should keep in mind their age when purchasing Anthro. In the end I claimed I looked great in the Mompos. the 40 yr old gal who was originally questioning the dress at her age, decided to keep it. She thought I was age 34 at max. I am her idle she said. Wow did that make me feel great.

I love the Lapiz Lazul Shirtdress. Would have gone for that myself if I were built differently in the chest department.
