I had no success with photos posting using the email method for iPhone. So I created a PLAN B for Photos just in case I have to resort to using my iPhone to Post. I'm hoping you will take a few moments to read and follow the instructions for my back-up plan.
Click the BLUE LINK below to jump to the Home Page of the Share Site. Click the first Photo Album on the left. I'm wearing the Saliboat Skirt. Click the first photo to view. Use the right arrow to move to the next photo. When you are done, click HOME at the top of the page. Click on the next album below to view the product images for today's outfit if you like. The captions provide info. Use the arrow to move to the next image. Click HOME when done.
Use the Link to Anthro Closet Chaos at the top of the HOME PAGE to return for two childhood stories.
I promise, it's easy. You can also use your browser back button to return. I think! Tell me in a comment if it works. Was it simple to follow? Did you like? Not like it? Why?
Give it a try..

Despite the fact that I am a Military Brat I rarely wore Navy Blue as an adult until Anthro. I thought the color depressing for good reason. I believe it stems from the death of my Father. He died one month before my 2nd birthday. My Brother was 3 months old. After my Fathers death my Mother claims I called all men in uniform, Daddy.
My Father was an Air Force Bomber Mechanic. He died at the age of 22. This makes me sad when I think that my own Son is 23. My Father was on Hazardous Duty when the Pease Bomber he was flying in crashed and burned on the runway. All 4 men were killed.

My Mother remarried a few years later. She told me this funny story yesterday.
When I was 4, my family went by ship to live in Hawaii. Our car was loaded into the cargo hold to make the trip with us.
My Step Father BTW, was a NAVY Captain. I wish I could remember this story. But I barely remember Hawaii at all.
When we arrived at Pearl Harbor, we watched the cars unloading from the ship.
Well, the car right in front of ours fell right onto the ocean. Our car was OK.
How has Anthro influenced your choice of colors, patterns, or styles?
I now wear Stripes, Polka Dots, Red, and Navy Blue!

That is so sad that your Dad passed away at such a young age.

The car going into the water during the unloading is such a fail blog video if they had fail blog back then. :)
What a great outfit. It's nautical, but also girly and whimsical. I love that you aren't afraid to mix black and navy.

Love your blog. I just purchase my lemon stick wedges on Tuesday and I am in love! I think I may have to get the sailboat skirt now. Wanted to mention that Ideeli is having a sale on poetic license shoes, if you haven't seen this brand you would love them, they go great with anthro pieces. Have a great weekend!

My Father rests beside both his Parents who out lived him. When I was little, my Nanny and Grandpop would take us to the Mausoleum where he was buried. It's very fancy. Granite and Marble statuary. My Brother and I would have to Whisper. When my Grandpop died years later, they had to open the wall up to put his casket inside. It was more than I could take Jess. I could see my Fathers casket inside the wall. I was supposed to get up and say something and I couldn't speak. My Moms Dad, we call him PopPop came up and spoke for me. : ) I think that was the first time I remember crying for my loss. : ( I was 35 years old.

The car falling of the boat is a funny story. We recently took our car on a ferry from Anacortes, WA to Vancouver Island. It was my first time on a car ferry. Everything was secured etc, but it was sort of freaky to think...what if something happened and all the cars (including a few big trucks and RVs) sank with the ferry?! Modern engineering is so amazing, don't you think!
I really like the orange and blue combo. I think yellow and blue would look good too! :-)

I haven't been on a Ferry in many years. I would love it. There have been some bad disasters recently involving ferry's. No joke!

And, as always, you look stunning. The orange really brightens up the subdued, muted colors in this skirt. And I love your Anthro cape. it is much better than my Outer Hebrides, which makes me look like a linebacker!

I've had the Caped Cardi for several years. I picked it up on sale at 2nd cut for $20. Last year I caught a Pop Back in the Catalog of the Burgundy color-way, for $20. So I have both versions. I think the tailored fit through the torso is flattering.
The Outer Hebrides is such a fun little cape, I suspect you can look past the quirky fit. I recall a seller on eBay certainly recognized how cute you looked in it. Ha-ha!
