Not in a thousand years could I have planned this photo.  Heishe's sweet little whiskered face, staring in rapture from the edge of a picture.  He had been stomping, purring and circling the stool where my camera was sitting.  Desperate for my attention.  I see from the camera angle that he managed to bump the stool and turn the camera in his direction. His appearance in my photos always makes me smile.

"Anthro's Model shot of this dress is atrocious. The bodice looks all wrong. Does this photo look off to you, or is it just me? And try not to notice how wonky my belt looks.  My rib cage makes it difficult for me to hold a non-stretch belt in place.

Despite having no faith in this dress ever working for me, I took a chance.  The thin Silk is just asking for every bump and roll to pop-up and wave Hello.
SIZE:  Online reviews suggested this dress runs large through the bust. So I crossed my fingers and ordered a SIZE 4.

I'm 5'6" Tall, 34C-D, 130 lbs, 35-28-36, larger than average rib cage. Normally a problem when sizing down.

Fresh Catch Cuff in Mauve - Handmade in the USA - Anthro Orig $258 Sale $130 - Dec 2008

Straw Makers Earrings - Orange Carnelian and Purple Jade - Anthro Orig $38 Sale $20 - Jun 2008
FIT: This is one carefully planned and executed T Reese FROCK. I'm a 6 in most dresses to accommodate my larger bust and rib cage. The 4 is a perfect fit. Bra strap isn't visible across the open back. A well placed strap keeps the shoulders in place. The fit is perfect through the bodice. Perhaps slightly snug at the rib cage as expected for me. The arm hole length is spot on. The cowl slightly low. Don't bend over or the girls will high five. Length grazes my knees.

DETAILS: I have come to appreciate the BRIGHT COLOR PALETTE over the last few months. The faux wrap front is a little strange. Stripes don't match up at the waist. A belt will nicely cover that issue. I am wearing this minus a slip. You can't see through the thin SILK. The cowl is a bit floppy. The dress looked best ironed.

I'm completely off-topic with this (and true to form) but I can't look at a photo of you without thinking that you have such beautiful skin! Seriously, have you ever been sun burnt? You have a glow that I definitely envy. Give some Heishe some love for me!

I'm a heavy Bare Minerals user. I've been sunburned many times. But that sure is a very nice compliment.

Such a cute dress on you! I love how you styled it with the coat and shoes.

Thank you! I think I can do better with more time. The dress arrived late the night before. I had to scramble to put this together.

I think the dress looks great on you! I would definitely like to try it, haven't had a chance to try it on yet. Looks like it might be length-friendly for long-legged girls. Love Heishe's sneaky head!

I think this might be a perfect dress for you. You are so slender. And your legs look very long. You really should try this dress. I'm thinking it might even get a second cut. But being that it's a T Reese, maybe not. Plus it's easy for a lot of gals to get the size wrong since T Reese usually runs small.

I put this outfit together in a hurry. I think I can do better. I love that the dress can go 70's, Vintage, and even Modern depending on what you style it with. I could wear a hat with this one.

Very nice. Thanks for the geat review! I really like this dress on you. It is very flattering and the colors are beautiful! I love that your cute kitty made it into the photos:)
Awwh, Heishe is just too cute sticking his little head into your photos! This dress is absolutely wonderful on you. I didn't pay much attention to it from the model shot, but you're right, that photo isn't flattering at all. I'm glad you're proof of the fabulousness of this dress, because Anthro didn't do it much justice!
Can I have Heishe? Seeing his whiskers in that first photo is just too cute! The bright colors on the dress are very flattering on you. Great job styling it!
I was just at Anthro today and saw that dress on the sale rack but didn't think to try it on. Now I'm KICKING myself!!!!! Grrrrrr. I leave for Malaysia next week (where I'm from), so no chance for me to try it on again. Anthro is 45 mins away from my home so I don't feel like making the long haul when I have a bunch of packing to do.
Oh and btw I saw that pic of you w. the pic of you wearing Anthro and PPE and I must say you looked adorable. Like a little girl playing dress up. And that's a compliment =)
Aww - your kitty cat - too cute!! How on earth did you manage to get that first picture? It's purrr-fect!
Nice dress; I think it looks wonderful on you and true to your style. I prefer the dress on you than the Anthro model - really! The fit looks a bit strange on the model, especially around the bodice as you mentioned.
